On Sunday morning we went to the Leslie Street Spit for a walk. It’s a big park on the lake.
We went early so that Quinn and Mom could do a guided bird watching tour. That gave the rest of us more time to explore.
Since it was early and still damp and cool, we found lots of snails. They were crawling across the pathway everywhere. We also found eggs from birds that had hatched, feathers, caterpillars, and some long reeds that we used to swat swarms of bugs.
That’s the good thing about mornings, there’s lots to see at that time of day.
