The name? Valerio.
I show you this because in Grow Figs Where You Think You Can't, I tell readers not to get hung up on having only recognized, named varieties of figs.
Who cares? If it fruits, fruits well, and the fruit is delicious, that's what I'm interested in.
I simply call this plant after the man who gave it to me: Valerio. I don't know the variety name. It doesn't matter to me. He said it's a delicious dark fig--and that's good enough for me.
