March 23: Growing Small Fruit

Interested in growing fruit?

Small fruit such as currants, gooseberry, serviceberry, elderberry, and ground cherry can be a lot easier to grow that tree fruits. Did you know that currants grow well in less-than-perfect, partially shaded, back-yard conditions?

Join me at Ryde Community Co-op on March 23 to find out how to be self-sufficient in these no-fuss fruits.

Interested in being self-sufficient in fruit? Think small fruit. With just a few of your own currant bushes, for example, you can be self-sufficient in fruit juice all winter. Forget the orange juice--currant juice is delicious...and as local as you can get!
