Why Food-Gardening for a Corporate Event?

Food gardening is a special topic for a corporate event because it’s a place where environmental stewardship, environmental awareness, self-care, and work-life balance intersect.

• Environmental stewardship and awareness. Growing food is a simple way for anyone to make a difference. When we grow at home, we grow it in a way that fits our values. And just as importantly, we nurture an understanding of what goes into producing food.

• Self-care. There’s the super-fresh food. Along with that, gardening is a great mix of of a physical, hands-on activity with time outdoors. It’s an unbeatable way to keep away stress!

• Work-life balance. Gardening is a fantastic way to disconnect. It can be a contemplative down-time—or it can be a really social community time. Either way, it brings balance to life.
